Pacely Privacy and Cookies Policy
This document explains what data we process in Pacely, how we use cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage your analytics consent.
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancies between language versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
1. Data controller

2. What data we process
- Data provided when creating an account and logging in, including e-mail address, password stored securely by the auth provider, and organizer profile data.
- Data submitted by the organizer while using the service, such as event descriptions, images, logo, links, logistics information, FAQ and GPX files.
- Technical data related to the operation of the service, including language preference, login session information and the user's analytics consent choice.
3. Why we use the data
- To enable account creation, login, password reset and organizer profile management.
- To present events, handle materials added to the service and maintain the secure operation of Pacely.
- To measure service usage and event interactions, but only when the user has consented to analytics.
4. Necessary cookies
- Pacely uses necessary cookies and similar technical mechanisms to maintain login, security and the correct operation of the service.
- This category also includes the `NEXT_LOCALE` cookie used to remember the selected language, and the storage of the user's cookie decision.
- These mechanisms are required for the service to work properly and remain active regardless of analytics consent.
5. Analytics cookies and tools
- With the user's consent, Pacely enables Google Analytics to analyze how public parts of the service are used.
- With the user's consent, Pacely also enables internal measurement of event interactions such as event views, clicks into details and clicks on registration links.
- If you do not consent to analytics, these tools are not enabled.
6. Managing consent
You can change your analytics decision at any time through the “Cookie settings” option available in the service. The change applies going forward and does not undo data that may have been collected earlier on the basis of valid consent.
7. Data recipients
- Data may be entrusted to technical service providers necessary for Pacely to operate, in particular hosting, database, file storage, e-mail and authentication providers.
- If you consent to analytics, analytics data may also be processed by Google Analytics under that provider's rules.
8. Your rights
- You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing and object where provided by applicable law.
- If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
- You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
